Conversation starter. Start talking to your group about the series topic.

  • What’s something you should only do with your soulmate and not your roommate?(don’t answer out loud)
  • When have you and your spouse, or someone close, did something completely out of the ordinary to have fun enjoying each other’s company?

Contemplate. Ask questions to get your group thinking

  • What’s the difference between the closeness of a roommate and the oneness you have with a soulmate?
  • What does grace look like in a marriage or relationship?

Contribute. Ask questions that create openness in your group.

  • Talk about a time when it was difficult but you were able to talk openly and honestly with your spouse.
  • What contributes to you feeling important or invisible in your marriage or relationships?
  • If single, what are you looking for in your ideal spouse?

Cry out to God. Pray intensely for your group on the topic.

Father, help us to move from being roommates to soulmates to thrive not just survive in our marriages. Let us in oneness take up the cross and follow Your example. Please Lord make this marriage move beyond ordinary by glorifying Your name as one flesh. Amen

Commit to change. What’s a new area to grow with the Lord?

  • I will commit to sit down with my spouse for face to face time. If single, I will spend time with God seeking how He wants me to live in my future marriage.
  • I will find 3 things to do this week to express to my spouse how important they are to me.
  • Commit to praying for the success of your marriage or future marriage every day this week.
